If you’re like me, the amount of time you have to exercise varies from day to day. One day I may get in 75 minutes, the next day 45, another day 60, and if I’m really lucky, two days of 100 minutes. I have to roll with my schedule.
Your schedule probably fluctuates daily too. The important thing is to not skip exercise even if it has to be squeezed in. On the days you do have more time, fit in that intense exercise session.
For example, if Monday through Friday is super busy and you only have 30 minutes to take a walk or do a short weight workout, take time on the weekend to hit it hard. Double your exercise time and do something that really makes you struggle and sweat. This workout should totally kick you in the pants! If you can get 2 of these sessions in a week, even better.
These intense exercise sessions are vitally important to your health. They are what change your fitness level and take you higher. They increase your endurance and cardiovascular health. They make you stronger. And they burn a ton of calories…not to mention rev your metabolism and make you feel on top of the world. (This puts you in a great frame of mind for weight loss.)
You know when you can fit your tough workouts in. Don’t slack off. Get ‘em done!
